I think you can take either test but we chose pcr it's £80 each with results back within 1-3 hours. I found out on here and also various other outlets

Completely agree Tillyfloss. My DD arrives in France overnight Friday / Saturday and still no idea what tests she needs. Happy to get them but I want to get the right one and most importantly within the right timeframe (48 or 24 hours) which is our biggest issue as they are going by bus so if it’s 24 hours I don’t know how they can manage that.

If tests to go and day 2 PCR on return to the UK are still required in March I think we'll cancel. It's not worth all the extra stress and expense for a 3 night trip. So sad, just as I thought travel was going to be getting easier

We are off to Toulouse on Wednesday, only booked it 3 weeks ago as things seemed settled, staying with relatives and got really cheap flights with Ryan air, the tests are going to cost more than my flights. So annoying and stressful, but was really looking forward to the trip. So atm it’s still on. Just waiting for confirmation that we can do an LFT test before travel.

I assume flights will be the same, but then 24 hours for the 12-15 year olds.
