Loews Sapphire Falls Resort or Universal's Endless Summer Resort
Looking at going to Disneyworld next year for the first time for 3 weeks. Total newbie and I feel like I'm drowning in information!
Rough plan is 2 weeks in Disney staying on site and getting the tickets through them so we get the extras and switch in the last week and stay in universal for the third week getting the tickets from floridatix. We plan to get the universal + seaworld package and activate seaworld in the second week of Disney. However, Has anyone stayed in the above two hotels and is the price difference worth it? Im really liking the idea of the water taxi in Loews Sapphire Falls Resort and im unsure if I can catch anything like that if we stay in the Endless Summer Resort ? Price difference is approx £440. I haven't stayed there yet but currently researching the same...
Endless Summer has free buses to Universal, although they drop off at the entrance of CityWalk rather than near the park entrances like the boat. To me, the boat convenience is worth the extra money. But it's probably not that big of a deal to walk through each time. How much more is Royal Pacific over Sapphire Falls? You will get the Express passes included then as well as the boat. You probably wouldn't need them for an entire week though, but you could do a night or two at RPR (you get passes on both check in and check out days, so 2 nights would give you 3 days of passes) and then switch over to ES for the rest of the week. Loews Royal Pacific Resort is £1,259 more then Loews Sapphire Falls Resort so £1,698 more then Universal's Endless Summer Resort.

Im not sure if we would need fast passes? One of my kids is disabled and I thought they did a similar pass for that so was banking on using a universal das pass.

Aventura was my first choice YT but it was much the same price as SF on the dates I was checking. So the boat won.
So back to OP, that's making RPR £180/night extra for the Express passes. Depending how many of you there are and what time of year, that's not a bad deal. But you really won't need all week with express passes, 2 or 3 days would be more than enough. So I wouldn't spend the whole week there if budget is a concern. And if you'll be spending all 7 days in the Universal parks, you probably won't need EP at all if you don't mind the lines. As for where to book, I generally always book direct with the hotel for the best flexibility. But I like to amend and even cancel pretty often, so that's my priority over potentially saving a few dollars with a third party. Specifically for Universal, if you book directly with them and they release a cheaper rate for your booking, you could then contact them and ask to switch. |

Yes they do (it's the AAS pass at Universal) although for both, it does depend on the disability as unfortunately you don't automatically qualify just by being disabled. For example, wheelchair users often don't because that alone doesn't impact ability to wait in line. Where a cognitive hidden disability often does impact how long you can queue, so would qualify.
Just be aware it won't shorten the lines for you like FP/EP does. It only allows you to wait elsewhere in the park. So if the queue is two hours, you won't be getting on any sooner than that. |

You can still get the boat if at Aventura but if they are the same price I’d rather stay in Sapphire also I think. Aventura is usually quite a bit cheaper.
