Any Recommendations Please - Eating Out?

Some cousins and I are planning to get together next week for lunch. Hopefully meeting somewhere between Bicester and Oxford, we'd be using the A34 but happy to make a detour. Does anyone have any recommendations for having a nice meal and chat in the area please? We're all over 60, would like somewhere nice, relaxing, not extremely expensive.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
They are traveling from Wiltshire and me from Bedfordshire.

I'm not sure if it fits location wise but shortly before Covid we used The Lion at Wendlebury to meet with friends (we live in Sussex but were travelling home having stayed outside Oxford and visited Bicester).
We had a lovely Sunday lunch there.

Thank you, I'll take a look.

If not too late and not been there for a few years but we always enjoyed our meals at The Turnpike.
Slap bang between Oxford & Bicester and not far off the A34.
