Hen party help…

Currently trying to plan my hen do for next year! I know some people get them planned for them but that’s not for me

I’m looking to incorporate the beauty and the beast musical in Manchester with a stay in a nice house/apartment for between 8-10 people. Problem is, I can’t find the type of accommodation I like in Manchester! Ideally I like the look of Signature Living in Liverpool however Liverpool is around an hour from Manchester.

My options so far are:
1) find a house/apartment in Manchester that I like (so far unsuccessful) - does anyone have any suggestions of anywhere similar to Signature Living?
2) stay in Liverpool and get a limo (or other type of large fancy car) to/from the Manchester musical venue

Option 2 is my favourite currently as the limo/car would be a nice experience as part of the hen do in itself but I have no idea how much this would cost as I’ve never hired one before?! I will make some enquiries but if anyone has any ideas of cost (or a recommended company!) in the meantime that would be amazing.

Try Kingstreet Townhouse in Manchester 😍 or Oddfellows on the Park May even do a package where they drop you off at the theatre (they do a Manchester airport drop package so might be worth an ask!) and it’s a spa hotel so even more to do!

Found these apartments in the Northern Quarter which look OK. You can hire both and they are across the corridor from each other.

I have lived in both Liverpool and Manchester, for twenty five years combined total in fact and I would definitely go for option 1). Or a new option 3) which would be find some entertainment in Liverpool.

A night out in one city from the other, (particularly if you are not actually residing in either at the moment?) sounds like a bit of a drag to me and I wouldn’t be surprised if you regret that.

I haven’t looked into Manchester accommodation for a long time, so don’t have any suggestions right now, but I am sure there is something suitable.

Thank you

I definitely want to do the musical so we’re a bit stuck in Manchester with that (unless I changed the dates in which case we could do Birmingham instead).

With the limo, I guess I was seeing that as more of an actual experience in itself rather than just transport from one city to another. We’d just be getting it in the day for the musical and then be back in Liverpool for the night. I can see what you mean though with travelling from one place to another and it’s definitely not ideal - I was just trying to fit in my favourite excursion with my favourite accommodation - typical that they’re 50 minutes away from one another
