For our dates, Andy and Alamo direct are almost £3500 for a Tahoe.
VA are £1450.
a £2k saving and the same Rental Co.
Due to how Virgin "buy" their rentals in advance.
I'm hoping they fall, by the time I need to book a car.
If not, Uber is my friend.

I couldn't believe the prices when I started looking. Saw a mention of Auto Europe Ireland on here as an option and managed to get Intermediate SUV from MCO with Hertz for 14 days next Sept at 634Euros which worked out at £553. That was with a small discount for signing up to their Membership Scheme. Only booked 3 weeks ago but today, same car on same site with Hertz for same dates is 2028Euros! Cheapest is with SixT at 977 Euros. Can fully understand why it's a dealbreaker for some.

I'm really struggling for the 22nd of July, for anything of decent size it's £1200+ for 2 weeks 😏

I booked in June for 14 days in August 2022 for a Dodge Caravan 7 seater - MLB got it for £1200 - usually £700

The same booking today is £3000 :O

I checked the uscarhire recommended above and its £2660 but they don't seem to offer all inclusive insurance which is something we like and would cost much more at the counter.

Was really hoping they would come down but its going up!

Can you expand on what you mean by 'All Inclusive Insurance' please.

USCarhire does, and always has included the requisite CDW and SLI ($1 Million) be that with Dollar, Thrifty, Alamo etc.

Good 3rd Party Supplier. I have used them.

If you look on their web site under Hire Options and Insurances you will see that CDW and SLI are included.
