Edinburgh on 1/2 December. In the evening we have Adam Kay's "Twas the night before Christmas" show booked - about Christmas on a maternity unit. Will be interesting as we are 12 current/retired lead midwives!

We too are going to York. This will be our third Christmas Market visit. We found the markets sold good quality items unlike the “tat” we have found in other places. Lots of nice pubs/restaurants/ bars to relax in. There are lovely little lanes with one off shops to browse around.

We were talking about whether to do the Rochester Christmas market the weekend of the Dickens festival with the parades , chestnut sellers, street characters and snow or a normal weekend.
I want to do the festival , OH is a bit concerned it’ll be too crowded with Covid rates rising. Much as I hate to admit it, he could be right ! |
