I’ve just uploaded my Covid vaccination to this app, does that mean I now have the pass sanitaire to enter Disney & the restaurants? Is there anything else I need to do? I’ll upload my daughters negative test before we go to this app.
There a section about forms, do I just leave this?

Hiya. We’ve been out there couple of times & used that app. Yep that’s all you need to upload on there. You can favourite it on the app too if you want just so it’s easy to bring up when you use it at Disney or any restaurant. You don’t need to put anything in the forms section. Hope that helps !

Do I activate the app once we get there or do I do it now?

The NHS travel pass QR code you get on the app only lasts for 30 days so if you’ve printed this and scanned it in already it won’t be valid when you travel. It looks as though you have 71 days to go…?
However, if you sent off for a vaccination letter I think those last a lot longer…
I never managed to scan in my son’s test results to the French app… he just took a screenshot of the test result and showed that. We never had any issues.

I’m in NI so ours is slightly different it automatically renews itself on the app every 3 months, but I also have the EU digital Covid passport as I’m an Irish passport holder so luckily I can have both! The EU one doesn’t expire so I’ve used that on the french app.

You’re welcome. You don’t have to activate it over here. Once you press activate the app will scan to see if you come into close contact with anyone who tests positive for covid & let you know much like the NHS app over here.

When over there is up to you if you want to keep that function of the app activated or not. If you want to use the app purely to scan into Disney & restaurants you can do that.

Thanks, frankly I would not want to get pinged over there so I will deactivate and just use it to scan in places!

Thanks so much for this I’d prefer to just use it to scan our codes, didn’t realise you could keep it deactivated. We’re only there 3 nights so fingers crossed 🤞🏻

Yeh that’s pretty much what we did out there. !
You Scan your code from the app at Security when you get to the Disney Parks then you scan to check in when you sit down in any of their restaurants. If you’re staying on site you scan when you first get to the hotel & they then give you a coloured wristband that means you can just show that for the next 48 hours to get in to hotel rather than keep scanning in every time.
