The sad day for me was when they got rid of the old Combi fares where you could get a Miles flight one way and a dirt cheap cash return that was not classed at the sky high 1 way flight cost. I used them a lot.

We did that for our honeymoon, we didn’t have enough miles for 2 combi returns, and wanted to fly EC out and PE back, so we did M&M for 1 return, and a combi (using the miles for PE,) for the other. Saved us over £600 on the cash price.
