Tripp or IT suitcases?
Hello all
We need some new luggage and a Dibb search shows that the Tripp hard shell or IT lightweight cases are popular. For a 23kg allowance (clothes, shoes, candy from Walmart) would we want medium or large? Thanks ☺️

We have Tripp. When the wheel on DDs was damaged they replaced the case free of charge even though it was only weeks to the end of the one year guarantee. She had kept the receipt fortunately

I'd recommend large cases - good for bulky items. I've bought cases in the past, in the sales, where there wasn't much difference in price between medium and large, so, have gone for the large. We also do a lot of shopping and pay for extra luggage - we do the case within a case thing.
We take a mixture of hard shell and soft - haven't tried those super light ones yet, as we already have several cases. The hard shell are great for transporting delicate items, or things we don't want to get crushed. The soft cases are fine for clothes, and other things that aren't delicate. Should add, we've mostly got Tripp cases bought when Debenhams had their Blue Cross sales etc. Have a large, hard shell one, still going strong, that we bought from Primark. Edited at 02:27 PM. |

I like Tripp. We have 2 large ones and 2 medium.
I had a smaller one for years that was used tons and I only had to replace it earlier this year as the handle stopped pulling up.

Forgot to mention - I prefer the 4 wheel glider cases: you can rest smaller bag, etc on top, and you don't take the weight of the case like you do with the 2 wheelers.

Just check the airline requirements. Many require that the total of the three dimensions don't exceed 115 inches or 292cm.
