Using a free 3 payg sim in the US

I ordered a free sim and I still can't figure out if i just load it with data will it be OK to use 8n the USA

I found that the data was so slow was a total waste of time and money. Some people disagree but Voda and EE worked so much better

It will just be for those times when I can't get WiFi and have booked an uber

The problem we had was that its when you need it does not work. We found that we had wifi everywhere though and the only thing we really needed data for was sat nav whilst driving.

Not driving so not a issue. I think I will just wing it and hope that universal have sorted out the WiFi in the car park

Have a look at Airalo app for an esim if you have a compatible phone.

There is a thread on here so it should come up on a search.

The sim from three should still work, I asked them on Twitter recently to confirm what the situation is, and they said it will change at the end of May, so my trip in April/May should be fine working exactly how it did before until then

Does the phone have to be set to anything specific/turned off, to use the phone in the parks to access MDE? Wont want to make calls just internet.
