parking at wdw hotel for one day

I just had a question about parking at wdw. we want to rent a car the days before we go to wdw for 2 weeks so that we can also visit some other things. we would rent the car from mco, now we don't need the car in wdw. but I do like to drive to our hotel with the car and the suitcases and stuff and then just keep it for 1 night and then just hand it in the next day. Is that possible? or do you pay immediately for the 2 whole weeks? And do you know which one is closest to wdw to return it. and do they also take you back to the hotel when you return your car? after the 2 weeks wdw i just book a mears bus for coming back to mco

thank you

Arrange to take it back to the WDW car centre at the Magic Kingdom the evening once you have unloaded your cases etc and checked in stating no overnight car parking. The care care centre will shuttle you back to your hotel with no charge if you phone them beforehand.

All the big players are onsite but to use the Car Care Centre at the entrance Plaza to the MK you need to be with Alamo or National.

We picked up our car 2 days into our trip. Will they try and charge us for 14 rather than 12 nights? Nothing on our bill yet...

Did you book the car for 12 days or for 14 ? If you booked it for 14 days, what did they say at pick up ? It’s unlikely you’ve got a bill, thats probably your rental agreement. The card that you used to book the car wont be charged until you return it.

I’d like to help you but I’m confused. Why would you be required to pay for a car for two weeks when you only have it for 1 day ?

I too am confused! You're renting a car for two weeks but only want it for one night?

Parking at your Disney hotel will probably start from the first time you enter through the barrier. If you intend keeping the car for two weeks then you've got two weeks of charges to pay. If you're returning the car to the rental company the morning after you arrive then I'd probably go to guest relations to pay the fee for one night and check my bill when checking out to ensure that no extra days have been added.

I think they're saying that they're going to WDW for 2 weeks and just want to rent the car for the few days before they start their 2 week onsite stay, use it to move onsite and then return it. So they won't be renting it for 2 weeks, but just want to make sure they don't have to pay for parking for 2 weeks because they've arrived in the car.

I meant Disney charge us still nothing on the bill. Guess they'll add at the end for the stay
