I make an Italian Trifle (boozy with cherries and Pantone) and a Pear Tarte Tatin (smells lovely as it's got cloves, star anise and cinnamon in it).

We never manage dessert after the dinner. Maybe Xmas pudding, mince pies or cheese and biscuits later in the evening. Everyone usually just picks at the sweets and chocolates.

I’ve not forgotten I will post but we’ve been busy reorganising the house so DH can have his office / man cave back with his home gym as it was being used as a sitting room for elderly relatives who are here due to Covid / level 4 restrictions they are happy just to be with us
