Can I come round...

We are having veg stir fried with pulled pork and noodles, but I fancy something a bit more "warming"...

Last night I made a nigella really old recipe of a potatoe and onion gratin type thing but put it on top of leftover chicken from a roast and a bit of a (cheap ) gammon joint I had slow cooked for sandwiches, the cream made a nice sauce .
Then we had roasted carrots and parsnips . ‘‘Twas yummy 😋

As it’s Thanksgiving we are having turkey sandwiches with cranberry relish stove top
Stuffing and pumpkins pie
Should have been sitting down to a proper Thanksgiving with friends in Florida though

We're having a Thanksgiving style tea too - turkey, mash, pigs in blankets, leek and sweet potato gratin, roasted pepper, green beans and Bisto Southern Style gravy. I have got lemon meringue pie for dessert but I don't think it'll be required!

Some pasta dish that includes bacon, mushroom and a creamy sauce with garlic bread... and a Gin and Tonic I think.

Given how irritated my wife is at the moment at finding out we're in Tier 3 and hotel visit cancelled we're ordering in an Indian. I'll be having the Tandoori Mixed Grill with veg curry on the side, garlic naan and popadoms. Wife will go for bhagis, samosa, some of my curry and popadoms.

Home-brewed Wheat beer for me and homemade Cider for my wife.

We are doing the same tonight, I’m fed up cooking this week.
