Hi again, thanks for the replies. I've not been on here as often as I thought! (I lurk via my phone but rarely get onto the PC to reply!)
We're considering the car/no car option too. I don't think we need one really (we're doing universal onsite followed by Disney onsite), as we hardly used ours in Disney last year, but just figuring out how to get to and from Tampa! I've not done much planning yet. Just tried to phone Disney to amend my booking but they wont let me without DH's permission as the booking is in his name :-/ Starting to get more excited about it now though. Must get the countdown board out! |

Hello and welcome! The main advantage with a car is the relatively large amount of time you will save, especially if you are off site. I’ve been once with no car and never again - I used Uber, taxis etc and in traffic it was taking an hour to and from Disney. The shuttles to universal are fine but you will likely be on fixed times for the shuttles and they are very limited at peak times and jam packed too.
We like to have the freedom of our car and the odd time to use Uber. If you do go for a car you need to factor in fairly high parking prices too at the parks. Whatever you decide hello and welcome, and happy planning!
