BRV or CCV at Wilderness Lodge?
What would you choose and why?
Has anyone stayed at both? or either? Thank you |

Having stayed at WL i would choose CC, a lovely area.
Having said that both are lovely as is WL which in my opinion the best hotel at WDW by a long chalk. Disney332

CCV has smaller but more modern rooms in the main hotel building, BRV has (very) slightly larger but older rooms in their own building.
We prefer CCV but we’re also very happy at BRV, from the resort POV they share the same benefits.

I would agree Wilderness Lodge is wonderful. We went over from BLT at Xmas and it was a really nice atmosphere. That Geyser Point bar and grill is also excellent.
At the moment I would pick CCV as they are refurbed, but they are smallish. It is also very difficult indeed to book a studio there (I had one for this month but had to cancel). They are starting the refurb of BRV when they have done Saratoga (when that is done is anyone's guess, I hear they are cracking on now with new contractors)- I would pick BRV then as I like that separate building they are in and they are bigger. But they really need a refurb now.

Copper creek 100%.
We stayed in the boulder ridge years ago and didn’t care for it, but we tried CC last year and loved it. I prefer being in the main building, and the rooms felt lighter and brighter. If they are smaller we didn’t notice. It’s one of our favourite resorts. Edited at 05:31 PM. |

I agree they’re definitely lighter, brighter & more modern feeling than BRV. The only downside for me with the CCV rooms is the galley kitchen in the 1 beds, I do prefer the older layout.

Controversial one here. We stayed in CCV at Xmas and despite wanting to stay here for years we were disappointed in WL. FQ is still our favourite resort. I guess for us the size and feel of FQ still trumps every other resort we’ve stayed at.
