can anyone recommend this place for a short break in September(2 adults)? I've seen a lodge to rent with its own fishing pegs and bikes etc which my husband would love. It looks huge from the website and I love to walk and have a look (nosey) at the caravans.

Its a 5 hour drive for us so just wanted to check it seems as good as the website makes it look.

Cheers x

It's not far from us, it's nice, in the middle of nowhere but if that's what you want it's good 😉 by the way it's next to RAF Coningsby, not sure how the flying is at the moment but I don't think you'll hear that much.

I've been looking at the lodges there this weekend, love the lake view and hot tub. Just worried about the bugs at night

We have been twice in the last 4 or 5 years . It was lovely . Been renovated since away resorts bought it and probably more so since we last went . Great for fishing and water sports . As mentioned above not too much around to do
