2 days Disneyland

Hope you are all having a good day!

We arrive at Grand Cali resort later in the day, so I don’t plan on having park tickets that day, but was going to do the character dinner at night and have a walk around downtown Disney.

I then wanted to do the 2 Grand Cali character meals the 2 days after before park opening, but it looks like they open around park opening time. We have maxpass, but I don’t want to waste the opportunity to get in to the parks early and get on some rides at opening. What are your thoughts? We will have a 3 year old with us so the meals cut down on waiting times for characters, but given this is my first time, I’m unsure of the best thing to do.

Also, the fireworks, best way to see them?
