I'm really enjoying your report. Your wedding day sounds amazing, just perfect. I hope your family were OK with you when you told them (we had a very small wedding and we had quite a few people unhappy with us!). Your meal at Victoria and Albert's looked amazing and the flight sounds fantastic. It sounds (I really hope it was) like a perfect holiday, wedding and honeymoon!

Aww thank you very much, i did a full trip report too because we had such an amazing time with so many special experiences! Yeah they seemed ok, we knew from day one we wanted it to be just the two of us and i dont regret it at all, it was perfect, we could spend every minute of the day together thats a shame people were unhappy with you but it probably confirmed you made the right decision to do what you did victoria and alberts was gorgeous, lovely start to married life

Day 5- Universal Studios

Simpsons Food Court, Universal Studios

We had lunch at Krusty Burger and Cletus Chicken Shack. I had the Krusty Burger (1/3 lb. Burger with Secret Sauce, cheddar cheese sauce, a giant tomato slice, iceberg lettuce, on a specialty bun. Served with Kurly fries.)
I love these, they are so messy but the sauce and melted cheese together is amazing.

Brett had Chicken & Waffle Sandwich (Double Battered, extra crispy fried chicken breast between two waffles with maple syrup mayo & tater tots)

He enjoyed this (as well as half of my burger). At $35 for both meals it definitely made us appreciate the dining plan back at Disney

We had Fanta and Chocolate Milkshake to drink- luminous Fanta is so much better than our boring version and it tastes better too. The milkshake was mainly icecream so it was delicious.

La Bamba, Universal Studios
We decided to have a cheeky cocktail before the next Blues Brothers show and went to La Bamba for Mimosas. I had Caramel Apple

and Brett had Coconut Pineapple.

Really really nice but pricey at $25 for two drinks in plastic cups. Brett’s was like a Pina Colada flavour Mimosa and mine was like an apple pie flavour with a strong taste of cinnamon- American’s massively overuse this ingredient but we love it and we actually cook most meals with it.

NBC Grill, Citywalk
It was time to head to Citywalk for some cocktails. We follow a lot of food and cocktail pages on IG and one particular bartender caught our eye a while ago as the cocktails are so pretty. He always likes our posts and we always like his. He posted a picture from work a few months ago and it turned out he worked at NBC Bar and Grill! We messaged him to find out when he would be working and said we would stop by for a cocktail. Jorge was one of the nicest guys we have ever met and had saved us two seats at the bar so he could chat to us. He asked us what we wanted to drink and we said anything he wanted to create. I am not entirely sure what these are as i think they are off-menu, the black one was blackberry flavour, the one with bacon was a peanut butter milkshake made with the satay sauce they use on the wings and there was an espresso martini in there. They were all delicious, Jorge is a very good mixologist!

We also ordered a Large Warm Soft Pretzel –Lightly salted, jalapeño queso, Bertman Ball Park Mustard (this was HUGE!)

and a portion of Sweet Chipotle Boneless Chicken.

The appetisers here are so big and so tasty- I still crave that pretzel and the dips now, Brett loved the chicken too, the chipotle sauce was to die for. We really enjoyed the atmosphere in here and it is much better than the old Nascar bar
