June 20 after 5 months of no colour.

An hour later ...

And April 21

Its too long now, but all my own colour. I've never looked back!

Best compliments have been those that ask how my hairdresser got that colour! I have had nothing but good words said ... even from those that speak straight!

Go for it! If you're contemplating it, you're already brave enough!

I love dying my hair, it seems to give it a beautiful shine and it doesn't cost a fortune. Cheap ones are a whole £1., 30 mins and your done. I love rummaging in boots or superdrug as they reduce old packaging, got some dark brown ones normally 7/8 for 2 quid. Give it a try, you can always change back if you don't like it x

Go for it. I'm sure it'll look fab. There must be so many people that have taken the decision to stop dying their hair over the last year. Perfect opportunity for it.

I have very dark hair and white strands that I get covered up at the hairdresser. I'm planning on giving it another five years then starting to just let it change gradually. I don't have the thick roots, just strands of white all the way through. I figure it'll be much easier , for me, to stop dying it before I get to the white all over stage.

Do what's right for you. Whatever you decide will be the right decision

Your hair looks great and what a beautiful hydrangea!

Go for it Louise! Would you also cut it short like Caj or continue to keep it long? That might be a harder decision!

Beautiful Caj! 😍

No, wont cut short, that’s far too scary! I am scarred after a hairdresser took me from really long hair to boy cut short hair back in the early eighties. I cried for days!

Thank you! Hydrangea is struggling for water at the moment, it's teenie in comparison to last year!

Thank you! I'm waiting for my appointment ... another 2 weeks. Meanwhile I'm trying to decide how short to go this time.

I've loved the opportunity to see it in different stages during this year!

I get that ... I wanted to cut down the amount of time growing colour out for. I figured I could regrow it if I wanted to. Didn't reckon on another 4 month stint without cuts!
