We had mugs last year but I actually took my own decaf tea bags
I've asked for hot water in the parks too no problem
You could always buy a small milk if worried. I don't like the creamer anyway
thank you ..great idea!

We stayed at AoA in March 2015. We had the QSDP and had the free mugs. I would take this to the food hall every morning we had breakfast there to put hot water from the urn into my mug which I'd put my teabag in. I also bought a small carton of milk to take away and keep in the fridge in our room so we wouldn't have to go to the foodhall when I wanted a mug of tea.

Incidentally, you can heat water in a coffee maker, but remember that these don't heat the water to boiling (as that would spoil the coffee). Therefore it won't make a good cup of tea. As we had a kitchenette in our Cars Suite we also had a microwave, so I would either run the water through the coffee maker and then run it to the boil in the microwave, or heat it from scratch in the microwave.

I'm not sure why I think this, but although I could equate using hot water with asking for iced water in the park, I would want to provide my own milk. Anyway, milk is much nicer in tea than creamer.

Just my late night musings...

I'll be honest & say I can't see what the issue is, it's only hot water & as far as the creamer goes it's at the sundries station. DW always goes there for her teabag as the ones supplied in the room aren't to her liking & she doesn't like the coffee.
