We flew in one very recently and I didn't really notice much difference in room - similar to other person there were quite a few empty seats. There were 2 of us and we had an empty one next to us.

Where do you find the seat map for your flight? I have the BA app but can’t access the seating yet

Try thebasource.com

thebasource/seatmaps.html

Much more reliable than the likes of seatguru.

Log into manage my booking on BA.com and pretend you intend to pay for your seat selection, it'll show you the layout.

Thanks for the pictures hornetgirl and comments.

It does seem like most people are saying they are ok and not noticing much difference on seat other than a narrower aisle. We can all guess and assume it would be a lot worse (as was I) but its good that the feedback that is being made in this and other threads is actually good by those who have actually flown on one of them.

We flew out on old and back on refurb configuration.
There were a lot of empty seats so was able to stretch legs under seat in front and had a decent sleep.
Didn't feel any difference in seat comfort and improved IFE gives it a thumbs up from me..

Same here, will be happy with an ontime departure

We flew out in an old plane but came back in the refurbished one.

We were near the back so had the 2-4-2 configuration which means no noticeable difference in the aisle space.

The screen is so much better than it was, like comparing an iPad to an old Nokia! The remote is double sided so has a gaming pad on the back, much like Xbox buttons and there’s WiFi if you’re happy to pay for it.

Didn’t notice any difference in the seat width but liked having 4 seats together for a change.

Ooh, your countdown is the same as ours then

We're on the refurbed planes as well and I'm actually quite glad as there are four of us and it'll be great to sit in the four seats in the middle. I'm happy to sacrifice an inch or so of width for that and the better IFE
