If they were the same price I would go for Virgin as your baggage comes off first , however have a look in the sale Sept and Xmas... you get fantastic deals on BA PE and club world, we got CW at the same price as Virgins PE... so went for CW

In my view they are not comparible classes - Virgin is much better than BA.

If the prices were close enough I would go VA, unless if was a refurbished Bigfoot (Boeing 777)

Va

BA WT is a waste of money compared to the VA product at the same price.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts.

We are looking to travel in February the week before the school holiday.

At the moment seats are about £700, should I buy or wait?

Have used VA PE, but was so long ago I can't remember what it was like, but the BA WT+ on refurb flights is supposed to be like the same class on their A380 aircraft, which we found to be very good.

I was not impressed with the A380 WT+ seats when I flew two 13 hour flights very recently. Nice and wide, but hardly any padding. I just couldn't get comfortable.

Sadly I've never flown VA PE, so I cannot compare.
