The term ‘influencer’ leaves me cold - I find it quite insulting. It’s almost predatory, and implies that they see others as gullible fools just waiting to have their opinions and beliefs ‘topped up’.
I appreciate there are many sources of influence in our lives, some masquerading as impartial media outlets, but as a self diagnosed curmudgeon I can’t abide them and what they stand for. I quite enjoyed that rant - enjoy your day! Edited at 10:04 AM. |
