We have done the lining paper on a couple of rooms which were less than pretty looking and its worked a treat. Definitely see us through til we can get everything skimmed!

Tights were mentioned but I'm.not convinced they won't ladder...
He says the paint will be a mixture of paints so this will probably have caused the bits. Cut the foot out of one leg and stretch it over a clean paint bucket and slowly pour the paint through. He says they won’t ladder ( he’s been doing it for 40 odd years though 😂

Yes it's mixed ro fill a tin. But the colour is spot in to what we wanted.

We don't have a spare bucket/tin is the problem. We were going to do it as we put it into the tray 😐

I have a feeling there paint everywhere

You can buy an empty paint tin from a trade centre or a cheap paint bucket from B & M or the like. I think it would be worth it, I don’t think you’ll manage otherwise.

Sorry but I’d pay for a professional decorator to do it. I’ve done my fair bit of painting over the years I loathe it now. Just paid to have my kitchen done worth every penny. 2 days start to finish such a clean & tidy worker no hassle job done.

We normally use wall doctor under wallpaper in some of the rooms that we have decorated. It is like a thick lining paper which evens out the wall surface and means the wallpaper on top looks smooth.
