It sounds like you have some fab things to do over the next few months!

Brimstone in the Lakes is really lovely...it includes things like afternoon tea in the reading room, a cocktail cart comes to your door in the evening and makes up bespoke drinks, breakfast in bed is standard. Huge bath tubs next to the fire. A fab spa too. It's a bit out in the wilderness but 20 mins to Windermere.

It’s the kind of hotel room you won’t want to leave, we went during a break in Covid when I was heavily pregnant, the only time I hoofed myself out of the bathtub was to move to the balcony and watch the rain coming down (in January 😂 the fire was lit!)

It sounds like a difficult appointment Dani but so glad you have lots of lovely things to look forward to and enjoy. I love Great Fosters in Egham and the Alexander Hotel collection... Good food - definitely recommend the afternoon tea. Take care xx

We are going Sunday-Tuesday this weekend! We couldn’t go on Saturday as we have my dad’s wake….he had a pure cremation so we didn’t have a proper wake but are having a family get together at a pub this Saturday lunchtime. Really looking forward to Cardiff and seeing my friend.

Crap diagnosis Dani so sorry but keep on thinking positive & planning stuff like you are doing. It's what my late husband & I used to do, get diagnosis come home think 'sod that let's go to ... ' that system for us worked well & we were still doing stuff long after we were told we might not be!. Keep on Keeping on. It's obviously working for you, you have done some great stuff with more planned. Proves there is still good times even after a crap diagnosis.
Your a true inspiration to us all, especially to those in a similar position. Sending Love Hugs n Positive thoughts for all your upcoming things
