So very sorry to hear your news
It’s awful for us but kindest thing we can do for our pets when it happens.
I know with Kody it came completely out of the blue but it was a similar situation where the vet advised not to put him through any further tests in case it made him worse

I’m very sorry to read your news, 17 is a great age. My wife won’t have another dog because of the heartache of losing our last dog.
