Best hotel(s) you have ever stayed at?

The best hotel I stayed in was the Grand Floridian, although contravertially I didn't like it reminded me of a large old peoples home all white doors etc. The best hotel I stayed at and enjoyed was the Aphrodite Hills Hotel in Paphos, Cyprus.

Planet Hollywood in Vegas , we were upgraded for free to a huge 2 bedroom suite with fantastic views .
I’ve been to Vegas many times and that was by far the best room

Hyatt Regency Long Beach , beautiful room with views over the harbour and Queen Mary .

Back in 2006 we did a 3 centre trip to Las Vegas, Cancun and New York with Virgin Holidays. The cost of the trip was ridiculously cheap for what we got but it was back in the day of prices being published in a brochure so wasn't an online glitch as such. We stayed in the Bellagio, Moon Palace and New York Palace and all three hotels make my top three.

We realised that Virgin must have realised they had messed up with the price as they changed the nice time direct flights between LV and Cancun and then Cancun to NY to indirect via Miami at horrible times of the day...must have done it to claw back some money!

2. Suite at the Aria in Las Vegas.

Borrego Valley Inn in the middle of Anza Borrego Desert State Park, Southern California.

Not fancy but a charming Pueblo style hotel in an extraordinary location.
Just 15 rooms, many with fireplaces (temps drop drastically at night in the desert!) and each has a large private courtyard.

A Dark Sky location; the stars at night are spectacular.
The views from the pools & hot tubs of the surrounding landscape (desert floor, canyons, mountains & cacti) are other-worldly and it’s just so peaceful.
Hummingbirds and roadrunners spotted whilst eating breakfast on the terrace in the morning sun.

Just a short drive from Galleta Meadows too; 130 huge sculptures dotted throughout the desert.

The Venetian in Las Vegas. Stunning hotel.
The Fullerton Bay Hotel in Singapore. This is definitely the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Wow !
