How to claim from Virgin for cancellation?

After our flight was cancelled last Thursday and we ended up on an indirect route on Friday I need to claim but haven’t had to do this before so looking for advice. Starting to look at the claims procedure. Do I simply fill in the Virgin Cancellation claim form that is on their page? Not had to claim before so unsure of procedure. Do I put in a separate claim for expenses such as changes to first night hotel fee? Thanks.

Were you able to claim for out of pocket expenses, doesn't seem to be an option on that form?

For example we had to pay for a shuttle to the airport.

I couldn’t find the option either but all we spent was $12 at Atlanta airport. We managed to change our other bookings by 24 hours., shuttles, hotel and DH’s Brightline ticket all allowed us to switch free of charge.

It seems there are 2 separate forms, 1 for compensation and another for expenses. This is the expenses one...
