Day 7: DTD - Cookes of Dublin So we have just enough time for lunch before being picked up. This is also the last Disney meal of the holiday We decided to go all out and use up our last 2 CS credits for a late lunch which would mean we wouldn't need to pay for dinner later. Normally a breakfast would have kept us going to about 7pm but it would be silly to lose credits and then have to pay for food later on. Cookes of Dublin was right next door so it seemed like the perfect choice. We ordered and found ourselves a table. It's not massive inside but there were plenty of free tables. This is what it looks like inside. We were given a number and helped ourselves to fountain drinks and sauces. They have malt vinegar and tartar sauce which was a nice touch. Andy got the Mini battered Irish sausages with chips. There were so many! I think he counted about 10 sausages and there was a mound of chips. He really, really enjoyed it - a little bit of home comfort after all the American food. I had the Original One & One (ie Fish & Chips!) I smothered it in tartar sauce and as written in my notes was epic! The fish was so fresh and flavourful. The batter lovely and light, not greasy at all and the chips hot and crisp. Just what English fish and chips should be. It was a great portion size not too humongous as some battered fish can be. I loved it and was happy to forgo a table service dinner later that day for it. Two thumbs up Last 2 CS credits used up which means we have used up all of our Dining Plan Credits Woohoo mission complete! Credits used here - 2 CS Credits left - 0 CS,0 TS & 0 SC

I've just caught up on the whole report.
Wow! We need to ditch the driving this time and do the cocktails. Some of them look gorgeous. I really need to candyfloss one!

Thanks - I felt we did end up making some really good ADR selections. It was hard being our first time on the dining plan and just plucking a load of restaurants out of the air but we loved most of our choices.
Thanks very much Thank you. Most the pictures were taken on Andy's iPhone as I couldn't charge my digital camera. The pictures ended up being better lol Wow, thanks for reading it all! Yes, it's the main reason we don't hire a car (we both drive). There's nothing better than taking a mid afternoon break from a hot park for a refreshing cocktail. writing it back though, it seems like we drank a lot but when you're on holiday it's ok, right? Thanks for reading. To be honest, the fish was awesome! Much better than lots I've had at home. Would highly recommend.

Day 7: I-Drive - Snack Shopping Just a quick one. Once we'd moved over to I-Drive we popped over to the Walgreens next to Millers Ale House to get a few snacks for our room. A variety of chips, golden Oreos, mango/strawberry pot & oatmeal raisin cookies. 2 Large bottles of soda & a 6 pack of Angry Orchard ($10.99) All really nice although the mango was a tad dried out and I found out that I prefer the regular Oreos over the Golden. I didn't see any of the cool varieties such as cake/mint but perhaps I was looking in the wrong area. Total paid in cash for the food/drinks (incl. any applicable tax) - $32.27
