Magic bands to UK?

I think the answer is no, but is there any way l can order magic bands to ship to UK? Staying offsite. I have old ones l can link from 2015 to get us through the gates but l believe our memory maker/ride photos won't be able to link as the bands are too old, so just trying to avoid having to buy new ones first thing in the parks when we could be legging it to the first ride!

This is posted quite a bit on here. If you are offsite then your option is to use a reseller, they will make a mark up on the magic band plus add on for delivery. You could go to disney springs before your first visit, they are sell them at the airport shop as well.

If you have setup magic mobile and have bluetooth on, that should also work for your photos etc

If you are based in the North West I know that the shop, Double Boxed Toys sell them.

You can of course buy online from them too.

MagicalWDW also another seller.

Note that the selection in WDW is very poor at the moment! Struggling to get the stock in.

Just had a look at those websites.

OMG, I'd ordered mine for 15 doilars each back in 2019/20.

I got loads of them 'free' on prior trips. I have;
lime
pink
orange
purple
red


and DS has
grey
white
black
blue
yellow

Last ones used in 2018.
Can I activate these? It seems such a waste in a disposable world . Disney should be trying to recycle these,especially if theres a shortage.

You can certainly use them for rfid, I.e touch points, and I believe you can get replacement “pucks” (the middle bit) which will give you the long range functions (photo pass, magic effects etc).

The new magicband + (to be released soon) will have an option to charge it, but expected it will have a considerably shorter battery life (probably days).

Everything will work apart from ride photos. These are the only things that stop working after time and therefore wont work with the bands. Unless you have actually "deactivated" them on the website they will work absolutely fine.

With the ride photos all you have to do is contact the photo pass people to ask them to search for your photos giving them approx time and a photo of what you are wearing on that day for them to go and search for them. They almost 99% of the time will have no issues finding them

We have loads of the previous free ones also some customised ones with our names on ( DH Star Wars, me Cinderella castle) . Just gonna take all of them and hope they work! Only doing one Disney Park day though and no MM.
