They’re protesting against the cost of fuel, it’s not the ones who like to glue themselves to the road, it’s more of a rolling blockade from what I’ve read.

Well in that case, leave them to it!
The price of fuel is criminal.

Yep! Like I said, don’t really agree with protests but in this instance I certainly don’t disagree with why!

OH works near the football stadium so he comes off at that junction. They have all been told to work from home. He said they have been told the protesters were meeting at 6am.

Its happening on various roads. On the news I’ve seen so far and no doubt there will be more. M4,M54,M62,M6, M25 ,A12. Some of these are starting from 6am. I can imagine this escalating. If anyone going away please take this into account if heading to any airports etc. I agree with the reason why and just hope it’s done respectfully.

I can hardly comprehend how many people use that road each morning. I join about 10 junctions south of where they will be so I’m hoping I’ll be ok. Any lorries heading south from Felixstowe will be badly affected.
I work as a specialist community nurse; we use this stretch of the A12 daily. I can't imagine the chaos this is going to cause.

It sounds a bit like when In France they blocked the roads with lorry’s and they got the price of fuel down.

Yes, those protests were about fuel going over £1 / litre!
