Euro Traveller - 22 seats occupied with 18 blocked

At this stage BA selling only 1 CE full fare and no ET fares. I would say that the loads on this flight aren't a cause for concern as most passengers tend to choose their flights when OLCI opens unless they hold status in BAEC that allows them to choose/BA allocate families . When OLCI opens you will be able to choose seats for both legs of your journey.

BA 205 - scheduled to be operated by a 777 4 cabin - 3 class aircraft

Club - 12 seats unoccupied with 4 blocked
WTP - Wide Open
WT - Wide Open

At this stage BA selling all fare buckets in Club, only full fares in WTP and only 3 full fares in WT so this could indicate that WT may be a busy cabin once pre-allocation/OLCI begins.

BA 204 - scheduled to be operated by a 777 4 cabin - 3 class aircraft

Club - 15 seats unoccupied with 4 blocked
WTP - Wide Open
WT - Wide Open

At this stage BA selling all fare buckets in each cabin.

BA 1442 - scheduled to be operated by an A319 aircraft

CE - 2 seats unoccupied
ET - 27 seats occupied with 18 blocked

At this stage BA selling only 2 full CE fares but most fare buckets in ET.

On the BA 205/204 BA have allocated the aircraft type as a 777 4 cabin aircraft as they work through the reconfiguration to Club Suites. This is constantly subject to change and I would suggest regular checking on Manage My Booking during the coming days in case of any short notice changes to your aircraft.

As far as this situation on board for Club passengers the forward cabin which is normally operated as First is closed unless the aircraft is completely full in which case it is opened and operated as a "Flub" service - First seat with Club service.

I can also understand your concern about cancellations on your flights but as usual I suggest you check them on a regular basis even if you don't get any notifications about the flights.

I hope that helps and happy to do another check nearer the time if you need it.
Just a wee update.

We checked in this morning for domestic and international flight.
You were right of course, 😂. Busy in WT, seats were already allocated with no seats to change to. We have a 2 and 1 a few rows back on the other side of the plane, not a big deal.
So far internal flight still scheduled 🤞

Thanks as always for the checks you do.

Hello Disney45 - I'm unable to check the seat map as AerLingus take it offline at 3 days prior to travel.

Your flight is a BA codeshare operating as EI 35

However, the fares for sale show that all fare buckets are available in both Bus and Eco cabins.

Hope that helps and good luck with your journey.

Club Europe - 4 seats unoccupied with 1 blocked
Euro Traveller - 2 single seats unoccupied with 42 blocked

At this point BA are selling no fares in either cabin and all flights from EDI to LHR are zeroed out for Sunday.

The flights have now been transferred to the BA FLY system so the airports have control of the flights. The blocked seats will be released when OLCI opens tomorrow morning at 7.40am.

If you get the chance let us know how you get on as I am sure everyone will be hoping for the best for you.
Flight to Heathrow cancelled. Too late for trains 😡

Evening stanleycamel, would you mind checking the following flights please?

BA0279 LHR to SJC on 24th July 14.55
BA0280 LAX to LHR on 14th August 16.55

I've got a horrible feeling that the Sunday SJC flight will be one of the culls either through strike or cancellations. I'll probably have to switch to SFO if all else fails.

Edited at 06:30 PM.

BA 279 - scheduled to be operated by a 787-900 aircraft

First - 2 seats unoccupied
Club
Forward cabin - 4 seats unoccupied with 1 blocked
Rear cabin - Wide Open
WTP - 18 seats unoccupied with 3 blocked (bassinets)
WT - Wide Open

At this stage BA are selling only 1 full First class fare, most Club fares, only 3 full WTP fares and only highest 2 WT fares. So looks like it could be a busy flight once BA pre-allocate family seats, BA EC Bronze choose their seats at 7 days out and OLCI opens.

BA 280 - scheduled to be operated by a 777-300 ER(Extended Range) with Club Suites

First - 4 seats unoccupied with 1 blocked
Club
Forward Cabin - 2 seats unoccupied
Middle Cabin - Wide Open with none blocked
Rear Cabin - Wide Open with 2 blocked
WTP - 15 seats unoccupied (13 of which are in centre section)
WT - Wide Open

At this stage BA selling most fares in each cabin except the very lowest in WTP.

Hope that helps.

PE - 12 seats unoccupied (all in centre section) with 8 blocked (front row)
EC - 14 seats unoccupied with paid seating options etc Wide Open

VS 136 - scheduled to be operated by an A350-1000 leisure configuration with small UC cabin and Booth social space

UC - 7 seats unoccupied with 1 blocked
PE - 18 seats unoccupied (15 of which are in centre section) with 8 blocked (front row)
