Travel to the United States from Ireland
Passengers travelling to the United States from Ireland are no longer required to show a negative COVID-19 viral test or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before they board their flight.

All passengers to the United States are still required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (booster dose not required). Only limited exceptions apply to this requirement.

Don't forget that you can also possibly travel from Glasgow

Thanks Dublin sold out now.

Manchester looks a go so far. I wouldn’t have thought about that.

We can drive and claim back parking hopefully.

Not yet. Our flight says it’s still going tomorrow so fingers crossed it does. The flight before ours is cancelled already. All of today’s were late (and 2 cancelled) so crossing everything that we get away ok. We’re not in a rush for a connection as our MCO flight is on Monday morning so ok with late departure for regional flight tomorrow.

Called BA. Sharing for info if it helps others. Mon 4th July there are no alternative flights for a group of 4 from EDI or GLA. Odd single seat available but nothing else.

We're still in the game, it's a not a nice game but at least right now we're not cancelled. This has turned very stressful.

Does anyone know if BA cancel the first flight, can you keep the second? Ie if our EDI -LHR is cancelled can we drop that bit and still use the LHR - MCO part? If we get enough notice of a cancellation, worst case scenario is we will drive down.

I sure hope so. That's our only backup plan right now!

I’d set up alerts with outgoing or landing airport. Heathrow notified us before BA. The text and email offered no alternatives. No one answering any of the phone lines.

I did live chat speak to an agent then they put me through to a holiday agent. A bit of a wait 60 ahead at the start.

The agent was lovely and did her best to help. Unfortunately edin- Dublin - mco sold out in economy while I was waiting.

Happy to be on the Manchester flight. Not totally sorted with how we are getting there mind. Coming home via Manchester now as well.

I thought I had a plan but a 5pm notice of cancellation for a 7.40am flight left us no choices for London trains, not helped it’s the weekend.

At least Manchester is a shorter drive than London.

Good luck.
