COMPLETED Onsite Food Report $37.50 per person per day - November 2021
With no dining plan this year I thought I would do a quick food report from our November trip to help people get an idea of what they might spend on meals at the parks. We are two adults with quite big appetites and I was aiming to spend around £50 per person per day. I was worried this might have been a bit too ambitious but in the end we weren't far off - after getting home and totting everything up it worked out at $75 per day for the both of us.
That included absolutely everything - drinks, snacks for the room etc. We had a few table service meals, tried a few snacks and definitely didn't feel deprived at all. Most of this will be onsite Disney meals but we did finish our holiday at the Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando so towards the end there will be some off-site/Universal meals. I've started doing a full trip report here if anyone fancies a read.

Day 1 - Wayback Burger and Walmart
I completly forgot to take any photos today sorry! After checking in to All Star Movies we were both starving so got an Uber to Walmart to grab some snacks for the room and have some dinner. We ate at Wayback Burger. I got a hotdog and I think J had a burger and some fries. This wasn't great and I wouldn't eat here again but it was cheap and filled us up at least. Cost was $13.75 From Walmart we bought some drinks and various snacks for the room. As we were trying to save money we just ate breakfast in the room most days, so picked up some pastries and cereal bars. Total spend was $23.11 Day 1 - $36.85

Day 2 - Sleepy Hollow, Gaston's Tavern & Blaze Fast Fire'd Pizza
Following a super early start this morning we were both hungry by mid morning. I really wanted to try the Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich from Sleepy Hollow (forgot a pic sorry so inserting one from DFB Guide). This was amazing and is on my list again for next time. Cost was $8.83 J wanted a Warm Cinnamon Roll from Gaston's Tavern. We also wanted LeFou's Brew in the souvenir cup but they didn't have any so just got the regular one - nice but expensive for what is it. I'm not a fan of cinnamon rolls but J has declared it the best one he's ever had. Cost for the two was $13.35 Dinner tonight was at Disney Springs and we decided on Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza. I think this is my favourite QS in Disney World. We ordered 2 Build Your Own Pizzas and shared a large fountain drink. Cost was $26.89 Day 2 - $49.07 Total so far - $85.92

Day 3 - Yak and Yeti Restaurant & World Premiere Food Court
Breakfast in the room again to keep us going til lunch time. Today we went to Yak and Yeti Restaurant for the first time. To start we ordered some Wok-Fried Green Beans ($11.99) to share then I ordered the Lo Mein Chicken ($20.99). J ordered the Bhaktapur Duck ($29.99). For drinks we both had a non alcoholic strawberry daiquiri. We really enjoyed this meal - our server was great, everything tasted delicious and the portions were very generous. The bill came to $80.01 but we had a $30 reward on our Landry card. So total paid including tip was $63.01. Lunch filled us up til we got back to the hotel so we stopped by World Premiere Food Court and ordered some Chicken Strips to share. No photo sorry but we all know what Disney chicken looks like! This cost $11.22. Day 3 - 74.23 Total so far - $160.15

Thanks for sharing this and looking forward to reading more to pick up some hints and tips. This will be our first year without a dining plan, so paying for food will be a bit of a shock to the system!

Day 4 - World Premier Food Court & Vineland Premium Outlets Food Court
We were having a later start today as we were going to Blizzard Beach so decided to have breakfast at World Premiere Food Court. We were very hungry so both ordered an American Platter each and then got a Kids Mickey Waffles to share which cost $25.32. (American Platter) (American Platter plus half a kid's meal) We had been going through our drinks from Walmart very quickly so decided to buy a refillable resort mug for $21.49. Should have got this on day one really but I thought we'd manage OK without. After Blizzard Beach we went to the Vineland Premium Outlets to do some shopping and had dinner there. J went to Charley's Philly Steaks and got a Philly Cheesesteak and a Strawberry Lemonade which we shared. This cost $13.83. I went to Maki Of Japan and ordered Fried Rice with Spicy Chicken and Bourbon Chicken for $11.70. Day 4 - $72.34 Total so far $232.49

Day 5 - The Market, The Milk Stand, Backlot Express & Regal Eagle
Breakfast today was at The Market in Hollywood Studios. We each got a Jack Jack's Num Num Cookie for $12.34. These were so good 😍 We went to Backlot Express for lunch. I ordered the Chicken Strips ($10.29) and J ordered the Cuban Sandwich ($11.99). We got a fountain drink to share and the total was $27.66. Later on we went to the Milk Stand for some Blue Milk. This tastes quite nice and is refreshing... but no way is it worth $8.51! We hopped over to Epcot in the evening and went to Regal Eagle to dinner. This was our first time eating here and we loved it. We planned to go back again at some point but didn't get round it so it's a must for the next trip. Once again we shared a soft drink, I got the Sliced Texas Beef Brisket Sandwich with Onion Rings ($12.99) and J went for the BBQ Burger with Fries ($13.49). Total cost was $32.45 Day 5 - $80.96 Total so far - $313.45

Day 6 - Satu'li Canteen, L'Artisan des Glaces & Primo Piatto
Breakfast was our Walmart snacks in the room again today. Animal Kingdom was our first park of the day and lunch was at Satu'li Canteen. It was nice to finally be eating something a bit healthier. I got the Chopped Wood-Grilled Chicken Bowl ($12.49) with the sauce on the side. J ordered the Chilli-Garlic Shrimp Bowl ($14.99) and wanted to try the cheeseburger pods so also got a Kids Cheeseburger Steamed Pod Meal ($7.99). This came with a drink so we didn't bother buying an extra one. Total cost was $37.77. We only stayed in Animal Kingdom for a couple of hours so hopped over to Epcot. We wanted a snack so headed to France to L'Artisan des Glaces. We both got a Croque Glacè - chocolate for me and strawberry for J. These was incredible. So messy to eat and quite expensive but definitely worth it. Cost for the two of them was $20.24. We caught the Skyliner over to Riviera and had dinner at Primo Piatto. I got the Grilled Chicken Sandwich - balsamic marinated grilled chicken with a sun-dried tomato relish, spinach-artichoke spread and mozzarella on toasted focaccia with fries ($11.99). This was really good and it was nice to have something a bit different from the usual quick service options. J went for the Bacon Cheddar Burger with Romano and Herb Fries ($11.99). We brought our resort mug with us so didn't need to buy a drink. The two meals cost $26.60 including tax. Day 6 - $84.61 Total so far - $398.06

Day 7 - Everglazed and Homecomin'
We had a 3pm reservation at Homecomin' today so went to Disney Springs. We didn't have any breakfast today and were starting to get hungry by 12pm so we went to Everglazed to grab a doughnut. These are huge, and we didn't want to ruin our lunch so were planning on sharing one. We couldn't agree on a flavour though so ended up getting one each. We only ate half and saved the rest for later. They cost $12.25 Homecomin' lunch was amazing - best chicken ever. Both of us opted for Art's Famous Fried Chicken but I swapped the mashed potatoes for fries. The bill came to $77.48 and we left $13.10 tip. We didn't get dinner tonight as we were full following our late lunch, so just ended up finishing our doughnuts when we were back in the room. Day 7 - $102.83 Total so far - $500.89

Day 8 - Food & Wine Booths, Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo & Rosie's All American Cafe
Today we tried a few things at the Food & Wine Booths. First up was Brazil for Crispy Pork Belly - served with black beans, tomato and onions. This cost $6.25. Next was China. We got the Beef Bao Bun for $7.25. This was delicious but a very small portion for the price in my opinion. Finally I got the Roasted Porchetta from The Swanky Saucy Swine for $6.25. This was my favourite and it was very filling. It was a hot one today and we ended up buying a bottle of Sprite for $4.50. In the evening we went to Hollywood Studios. I wasn't very hungry so just got a Kids Chicken Nuggets meal from Rosie's All American Cafe for $7.66. J ordered a Ronto Wrap from Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo for $13.99. Day 8 - $45.90 Total so far $546.79
