Toaster? That is a first on me.

I am guessing that apart from anything else, it will be the wrong voltage.

We are staying at Rosen Pointe and on days we are in a hurry to go to parks and not having sit down brekkie, it would be nice just to make toast for me and the kids.

The hotel says it is allowed but is this a thing some people do lol…..jury is out😂😂

I remember way back when on our first trip, 30 years ago, my dad got fed up of paying for breakfast after about 2 days 😂 so he bought one of those cheap cool boxes filled it with ice so we could keep milk in it and bought some cereal, disposable bowls and spoons, and that is what we had for breakfast in a morning for our first week.

After that we were in apartments for weeks 2&3 as my grandparents gave us use of their timeshare (my grandma didn’t like the idea of her grandchildren not having anywhere to stay, my dad was going to wing it 😱 )

If you want one, maybe buy from Walmart?
Maybe also a fire hazard?- not sure the hotel would approve?
Definitely a heat/smoke fire alarm hazard.

I may have been known to go on a 3 night trip with 5 handbags and 6 pairs of shoes

Were two pairs of shoes the same colour?

It’s a simple concept.

1. I don’t pay for hold baggage unless I need it (two different climates on same vacation). Hold luggage on a long haul return is generally £100pp x 4.. and then, we often have further domestic flight(s) to take into consideration as we multicentre/ multi state.
2. It’s great to be out of the plane, through immigration, customs and onto the concourse before the baggage reclaim scuffle has even started. Boston last visit was 26 minutes from aircraft door to hailing a Taxi.
3. Why take 6 pairs of shoes, when you can get by with the ones you travel in and a pair of reefs?
4. There are invariably washing/drying/ tumbling facilities in Hotels and Villas, so you simply spend a couple of minutes using them.
5. Less baggage means that we can get by with a Jetta or RAV4, with the four of us having ample space when driving.

My sister in law goes to lie on a beach in Mexico every year for 10 days all inclusive and insists that she takes a pair of shoes and handbag for each evening… two hold luggage suitcases and hand baggage. I am glad that I am not with her as I would have spare space hand baggage only for such a vacation.
