Definitely worth it, I've had it 6 years now as was part of the pilot. It has saved me hours in immigration over the years, you also get to skip Customs as well. In LA last year the line for customs was huge, probably at least another 45 min on top of the long immigration line, at MCO there probably won't be a customs line but you will walk through immigration.

On a recent trip through TPA, it took 25 mins for the GE in our party, but only 20 mins for those without! The GE queue was full of Americans with GE or mobile passport, so we were quicker in the normal queue. Made no real difference, as we were all waiting for the last case to come through.
(Why is there always 1 case that dosen't come through at the same time as the others ). On the return, I must admit TPA Pre allowed them to clear security 1 min less than normal. TPA never seems to have a large queue for the BA flight times.

if its anything to go by we applied 4th June and got approval last week! so there are very long wait times currently, applying in August would probably be looking at January/February conditional approval. even trying to book an interview appointment for January when we are there is proving tricky

Hi, Yes , we did ours on the 1st Nov at MCO, on arrival. We just asked and they had 1 officer doing them. So ask on arrival. Was a very quick process.

Finally we have had our Global Entry partially approved after 23 weeks and now have to book our interview.
We log onto the system and there are no interview at MCO, the earliest at Sanford was May, Tampa was April but Miami was in just over a weeks time. So we have booked interviews in MIami but are just keeping our fingers crossed that we can do our interview on Arrival at MCO.

We did ours on arrival at MCO. There was no designated officer available so they took us to one of the normal booths and ‘roped off’ the entrance so nobody else would queue there whilst he did our interview. All quick and straightforward.

Yeah, you must complete in 365 days from conditional approval.

TSA Pre was really busy yesterday at MCO. We still got through quickly but it seems to be getting busier every trip.

Mind you the normal lines were showing a 45 min wait time.
