tui have stopped flying from east midlands, so even before they moved to melbourne, its unlikely i'll be using them any time soon now...

I’d fly into melbourne if the price is right, same as I would fly into Miami if the price was right. Knowing TUI though the price won’t change dramatically on the whole. There’s nowhere near enough different operators doing long haul, from Manchester especially, for the prices to change. There’s an oligopoly going on at MAN between TUI and Virgin already which is annoyingly pushing prices sky high.

Side note: I’ve also noticed that TUI are offering indirect flights with other providers which is sneaky, until I looked closely I didn’t realise some flights were indirect when I was looking for this years trip

It may well be cause one of the cruises calls at cuba.
I am sure this is the reason since the US ships can't go to Cuba again. It makes perfect sense. It has the best port in the Carribean IMO. I am very glad to have done it during the short time I could as a US citizen.
