Netflights refund

Has anybody had a refund from netflights yet. We are due to fly on Monday and still haven’t been told the flight is cancelled

Have received confirmation in writing from Virgin that my inbound flight has been cancelled and I am entitled to a) The seat on the Alternative flight they have given me b) An open ticket or c) a full refund as per EU regulation 261/2004
Have sent this confirmation to Netflights and they continue to say either go on the Alternative Flight or cancel without refund and are trying to shift the blame onto Virgin!
You only find out how good a company is when thing go wrong. Netflights are proving to be nothing but atrocious.

Oh no... I was literally just looking at how I tackle my flights - we’re due to fly 3rd October but aren’t going now due to the whole disney fiasco, do I have zero chance of amending at the minute?

I spoke to Netflights this morning as I hadn't received any notification that my Virgin flights from Glasgow for September had been cancelled, despite Virgin posting this all over social media at the weekend.

I have to say the person I spoke to at Netflights was really helpful, he checked my booking and confirmed that my flights were cancelled, offered to send me an e-mail to confirm so that I had something in writing which I have received. He also offered to process my request for a refund or open ticket and explained that Virgin are taking up to 120 days to process refunds.

I'm so disappointed with Virgin that I've asked for a refund as I really don't want to book flights with them again. I still want to go to Florida in September but Virgin have left us in a difficult position where we would need to rebook alternative flights before we even get our money back from them.

Yes, we got our refund. We were due to fly with Delta on 28th May. Going by their refund calculator I wasn’t due anything till mid July.
I wasn’t very happy with their lack of communication so while on annual leave I spent time trying to contact them using various methods. I eventually saw someone who said the only way they got acknowledged was to write a trust pilot review. I got the refund invoice a few days after.

Update: hubby got though on the phone yesterday, our flight was cancelled on the 3rd June and they started a refund process that day. He pointed out that we hadn’t received an email. They then called him back 30 mins later and said the refund has been processed and will be back in our bank within the week, hope so but won’t hold my breath.
