Mobile How do you pay in the Parks?

Hi there

First timer thinking of going to DLP in a couple of weeks. Been to WDW but never DLP. What with everything that’s going on right now, silly question but how do people pay for their food/merchandise in the parks?

Thank you 😊

Hiya! I’ve always just used my debit or credit card for everything. You can also register a payment card to your magic pass and charge to your room (if you are staying at a Disney property).

I’m planning to pay with a debit card. I have a starling account that doesn’t charge for using abroad so plan to just transfer money over to that as needed.

I link my Starling card to the magic pass and use that 😊

Thank you everyone. Never had a Starling card, how long would it take to get one do you know as we were looking at going in or around 17 August?

Thank you 😊

I’ve had mine for some time but as far as I remember, the set up was very quick and easy (all done via the app) and the card arrived within days.
Love the account - fee free international spending and very user friendly app.

Used my Monzo card which I'd preloaded and some cash. CC was a backup that I didn't use.

Lovely thank you. I do have a Clarity card but wasn’t sure whether I should use that or take cash.

I would definitely recommend a starling account. I've now had it as my main account for almost a year and cannot fault it in anyway. I used it in DLP on my Feb trip and it was faultless.
