They are very light but bulky and as I always end up carrying everything I refuse. They also leak if not upright, so you cant take them filled (unless the design has changed?).
We take small plastic bottle of water that fit better and have a screw top lid. They can be filled at fountains or from the water nozzle on soda fountains for free. |

As for carrying them around, if you're taking a stroller then take a console/organiser (crap holder) that attaches to the handle bar. I found ours stood up okay in there for the walk to the parks/resorts. And we didn't have to find room in the bags. It's such a shame they aren't included in this offer. I don't think I could justify buying more than one out of pocket.

I upgraded my plastic refillable mug last year to the "always hot/cold" mug. I have the star wars design and even after a year, the coffee my husband picks up for me at his works is still hot to drink 3-4 hours later (as long as the lid is closed) These are the metal ones so slightly heavier, but sturdier than the plastic ones. I highly recommend upgrading if you drink hot drinks (Cold drinks also stayed cool as well)

I did use mine every day on my last trip but not planning on buying it this time. I get sick of fizz very quickly so mostly stuck to Minute Maid. Will be ordering a case of water (which I do anyway) and a box of drink mixes like Crystal Light for when I fancy something flavoured.
But if you drink a lot of fizz or coffee/tea and are happy to carry it around, I still think it's a good deal as the cost of those add up fast at around $4 each. Just not worth it for me. |
