DIY Highway in the sky dine around - suggestions please.
What order would you do this in?
We wanted to do this with our friends next year (assuming it's running again) but it's very alcohol orientated and none of us are big drinkers, so seems silly paying a premium for a load of drinks we're not bothered about, hence I thought we'd DIY. I was thinking... Starters in The Poly, maybe appetisers at Trader Sams Mains in the Grand Floridian. 7 layer chocolate cake and watch the fireworks at Bay Lake Tower. My thinking is that this way we'd only need one reservation for the mains, and could be flexible with the other courses and take our time in the resorts. Also tempted to do a CS as a main course to take the timing concerns out completely so we can adapt as we go and stay longer anywhere we like. Is this how you'd do it, or any other suggestions?

Go bar to bar and get bar snacks, no need to worry about reservations or timings and the bar snacks are really good.
If you want to end at bay lake, then start at Trader Sam’s or even in the contemporary and do a full circle. Grand Floridian have Citricos Lounge, or a beauty and the beast bar. (Review here. Looks pricey disneytouristblog/en...lounge-review/)

Not sure when you're going but the Poly monorail is currently closed but you can walk to GF.
I would start at Trader Sam's then Enchanted Rose and end up at TOTW at BLT.

Geyser point is not on the monorail but you can get the boat from the contemporary, it’s also well worth a visit.

We love Geyser point, eat there often when staying at CCV, but this is ALL about the monorail
