Having seen Youtube videos of the Virgin boat I wont be going anywhere near it. Its hideous for a start and far too brash for all the wrong reasons, I doubt it will that sucessful in the long run.. Some will love it though.

So my Dad is 72 and my mum is 65 and they are staycationing on the ship They both are the same no way its going to be a normal cruiseline for them but it will be fun to explore. I hope he uses his free cruise even if its not aimed at him as it will be an experience!

Does anyone remember the Easyjet cruise ships? Horrible orange colour scheme everywhere. Shudders. So this isn't THAT bad but we actually do Disney cruises to get away from children and boozers! The adults section, Palo and the spa on Disney ships are so quiet especially on the short cruises or when it's school holiday time and contrary to what people probably imagine when they think of Disney it's so peaceful and serene. So this would not be for us.
I'd jump at it if it was free though but I'd pay to go around the Caribbean in a sardine can at this stage! |

We’ve not booked for this year’s staycations, although were tempted, but have booked 8 nights for the Caribbean next year for our honeymoon. Got one of the rockstar suites so super excited!
I quite like that it’s not a standard cruise ship, it looks so much fun. We will be 34/35 when we go but I did watch an interview with Virgin saying they were aiming for 45-60 year olds who had done cruising previously but I’m not sure that is who they’ll end up with!… time will tell!

Hahaha I can’t see how they be trying to appeal to any demographic in particular.
It’s adults only, so for us being 39&50 we are excited to get away from the kids, have a few drinks, relax and chill out. But if my sister went she would want the clubs and the louder things they offer. I’m excited. I’d go on a ferry to Calais at the moment and pretend it was a cruise 🤣 |

We’ve booked too for a weekend with some friends.
Have no idea what it will be like, but am happy to go with an open mind and take it for what it is. A 3 night break to eat, drink and spend time with friends.
