Oh my goodness, poor mason, he’s really been through it lately. This must be so heartbreaking for you.
Glad the GP took you seriously. Please don’t feel you are being a pest. As parents, you are mason’s only advocates and unfortunately it often really is a case of “he who shouts loudest”.
Thinking of you all x

Never, ever think of yourself as a pest. Your child is poorly. You are his advocate. His voice. His spokesperson. You are amazing ❤ x

So sorry to hear all this. Firstly, please dont think you area pest, email your consultant with photos as well as IBD, it may well help them to help Mason. I work as a med secretary and would never underestimate the distress that this must be causing.

When our DD had treatment she had open access to the childrens ward, can you ask maybe if similar is available due to the medication he is on?

I hope you get some more support soon, and Mason is on the mend soon. X

I really think you need open access somewhere; do mention it to Dr Auth x

Taking the piriton as well as the zirtec with the eye drops snd inhaler seems to be working 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 His face is less swollen already and although his eyes are still itchy he can open them more 😊
Blood tests in the morning, the MCAS tests are being done the same time as his checks due to the Azathioprine. If his white blood cells have improved he can do a few hours at school next week 🤞🏻🤞🏻
The little monkey doesn’t want to go to school ever again but it will do him the world of good to be with children again.

Good to hear
It will do you good to have a couple hours to yourself but you will have one ear open for the phone and an eye on the clock I’m sure
