Love it, brings such happy memories as a child. One I particularly remember - night watchmen when doing street repairs. Tin hut, brazier going we kids were all fascinated. As we played out in the streets till called in, we would always sit around with the night watchman. It was usual for us and for parents. No being dragged in cos it was wrong.

As an 8 years old, the co-op milkman delivered with a horse and cart - the milkie walked down the street with the horse stopping at every house that milk was delivered to. Oops, really showing my age now
