Different dining options
Were used to having the dining plan and would be ok with buying it for this September if it becomes available. However, I don't think it will so I am thinking that we will eat in ways in which we can't on the plan. For example going to the lounge next to Ohana and having a cocktail and a plate of food to share. Anyone got any more ideas of places like this?

Nomad Lounge
Trader Sams Jock Lindsays Hangar Bar Three Bridges We are also going to go to Jaleo which doesn’t seem a good deal on the dining plan but looks like a great meal.

Most of the Disney Springs signatures weren't the best use of 2 credits so work better under this offer. Boathouse in particular springs to mind, I remember their prices being more like a 1 credit restaurant.
Anywhere that serves good appetisers. Homecomin' is the first one I thought of since I always just get the biscuits there, never a main. But again look at the signatures - sushi at California Grill, poutine at Le Cellier, etc. All of the lounges. Many of them are attached to signatures and have a few items from those menus. |

We didn’t have a dining plan last time we went. The Nomad Lounge is one of our favourite places when not on a dining plan. When we stayed at the Contemporary we quite enjoyed the Wave Lounge and they used to do some bar food which we would have as a light meal. I haven’t don’t it yet but have been meaning to get waffles from Sleepy Hollow, which I am not sure is in the plan, although could be a snack credit.
More generally we would sometimes opt for two or three starters to share rather than a main, which isn’t possible on the dining plan. |
