Different dining options

Were used to having the dining plan and would be ok with buying it for this September if it becomes available. However, I don't think it will so I am thinking that we will eat in ways in which we can't on the plan. For example going to the lounge next to Ohana and having a cocktail and a plate of food to share. Anyone got any more ideas of places like this?

We are also going to go to Jaleo which doesn’t seem a good deal on the dining plan but looks like a great meal.

Most of the Disney Springs signatures weren't the best use of 2 credits so work better under this offer. Boathouse in particular springs to mind, I remember their prices being more like a 1 credit restaurant.

Anywhere that serves good appetisers. Homecomin' is the first one I thought of since I always just get the biscuits there, never a main. But again look at the signatures - sushi at California Grill, poutine at Le Cellier, etc.

All of the lounges. Many of them are attached to signatures and have a few items from those menus.

We didn’t have a dining plan last time we went. The Nomad Lounge is one of our favourite places when not on a dining plan. When we stayed at the Contemporary we quite enjoyed the Wave Lounge and they used to do some bar food which we would have as a light meal. I haven’t don’t it yet but have been meaning to get waffles from Sleepy Hollow, which I am not sure is in the plan, although could be a snack credit.

More generally we would sometimes opt for two or three starters to share rather than a main, which isn’t possible on the dining plan.
