Best QS Disney on-site restaurants which feel like TS?! Or good 'cheaper' TS restaurants!
Usually we have the DDP when we go to Disney and do 2 weeks onsite. There are four of us so the new offer isn't great for us as we like a sit down meal in the evening so I'm trying to plan how we are still enjoy Disney as we like to without breaking the bank.
We normally do 4-5 signatures plus character dining but these are pretty costly if you pay OOP. We love a relaxed dining atmosphere with good food but we are not particularly fussy eaters. Can anyone inspire me with QS that feel more like TS or cheaper TS restaurants that are worth a visit! We are happy in parks / hotels / DS. We hope to stay at Saratoga. I know we would get better value off-site but we really want to stay onsite so trying to make that work first! Thanks! |

Cheaper TS with decent food for me would be:
Trattoria al Forno The Wave (but being refurbed now) Grand Floridian Cafe Ale & Compass. |

Satu'li in AK is the best QS on site IMO. Food served on real plates (not sure if that's still true post-Covid) and really different from the usual QS fare. And the one in the new Riviera resort looks promising, it's on my list to try next trip. Otherwise I'd look at the QS places in Disney Springs - Chicken Guy is my fave (does feel like a QS location, but the food is good and cheap for being onsite) but quite a few decent options available.
The only TS I'm planning to do next trip is Homecomin. It's my favourite anyway but it's reasonably priced as well. Cost me well under $30 last time including tip, although not alcohol. But since you like signatures, look at the lounges. Made no sense on DDP since they weren't eligible, but great OOP and often attached to signatures and share the same kitchen. Edited at 02:33 PM. |

If you like BBQ, Polite Pig at Disney Springs is delicious. I know it’s a bit more casual but we also love blaze pizza at Disney Springs.

QS. We like the
Katsura Grill LSatuli canteen. Columbia Harbour house. (More for the seating upstairs than table service food) Yak and Yeti as long as it’s not too hot. This is also a ‘cheaper’ table service especially if you get the discount card. Geyser point (this is basically table service) Cheaper Table Service Pizza from Via Napoli in Italy Mamma Melrose The Plaza in magic kingdom |
