Going back to the good old days when you could walk in a shop without the need to queue for half an hour, it depended on the time you travelled.
What time are you going through London? Disney332

Probably about mid-day but DD wont go on tube so taxi already budgetted for! Its the main train journey. Will be ok if everyone seated but the thought of packed trains leaves me cold at the moment.

DD travelled last Saturday morning from North Wales to London she hadn’t booked a seat but was able to get an unreserved one the Seat next to her was empty. Have heard stories however of busy trains with people standing. Guess it depends on the route and time of day.

If there was a time of day when less people travel its out of rush hour mon-fri. Saturday you might see more people on the train at-this time.
Either way with Vac roll out you should be fine Disney332
