Another vote for Areopress - you are not restricted to coffee types either - it’s the most flexible option. 😀

This is definitely for coffee "lovers". I'm more concerned if mine has a little gingerbread man sat in the cream or golden balls on the top than which blend of coffee is in it. I couldnt tell you the difference between a Pikes Place and a McDonalds blend.

I'm such a coffee Luddite.

I also have a Tassimo machine.

You can get milk pods. These contain concentrated long-life milk and produce "frothed" milk. It's as easy as just putting a pod into the machine. However, I do find that the 'milk' in these pods doesn't taste as nice as the fresh stuff.

Aeropress saves me a fortune. I pay £5.50 for a nice Lavazza double pack which lasts me ages. Compared to plastic pods and expensive machines it's brilliant.

I've really enjoyed my dolce gusto pods over the years but I really noticed the non artificial milk taste with the nespresso. X

I have just changed my small Nespresso machine for the bigger Nespresso Vertuo machine, it has £100 discount offer at the moment plus you get 100 capsules free (there's also a subscription offer which gives you more free coffee if you take up the subscription)

nespresso/uk/en/year-end-promotion

I am enjoying a Hazelino coffee as I type this

As others have said an Aeropress will give you a massive variety of coffees to chose from and they are not thats expensive. Also stick in a metal filter to save buying paper ones. For the milk just buy a frother off Amazon I paid £23 for mine its a non descript brand but does a great job and is much better than the Dulit model which i got through three in under a year.
