Octopus energy provider- Anyone with them?

I currently have British Gas supplying my Gas and Electricity
I'm considering changing to Octopus as a friend changed to them a while back and has a recommendation code
Tariffs and standing charges appear cheaper than British Gas
Does anyone else have experience of being with them?

Yes, I'm with them. They took over Iresa customers - no problems with them - good customer service too.

I’m with them. No problems Good initial offer and when that ended and they had a special switching deal on I phoned up and they offered me the same deal

I switched to them in our new house, easy switch, no issues, easy to submit meter readings and great customer service!

They may be cheaper but not the cheapest.

Have a look on the comparison sites like moneysavingexpert and see what is the best deal for you.

Many of them have incentives for swapping, I'm sure someone will be with whoever is cheapest and be able to give you a referral code if that supplier has such a scheme.

I switched to them with MSE Cheap Energy Club. I'm now in my second year with them and no problems experienced.

I switched to them in March via Moneysavingexpert cheap energy club, got £25 cashback, had no issues so far, all went smoothly, they send monthly reminders for meter readings & i find the website good, you do have to pay a month in advance like a lot of others these days but it makes sure you start off in credit
