Wearing skirts to parks?

I'm just wondering which ladies here wear skirts to the parks? Do they hinder you on any of the rides? I'm having trouble finding decent shorts that I like but have seen a few skirts but was wondering what the general consensus was? Skirts in parks yay or nay?

I have done it but they were knee length and floaty so they didn't hinder getting on and off rides.

My daughter has dresses but will only wear them when she knows she isn't going to be on any rides that have her feet dangling, so I suppose it depends on which parks and rides you intend to do.

I dont wear trousers or shorts at all so therefore ONLY wear dresses and skirts. I've never had a second thought about rides/parks and skirts to be honest...never had a problem and I go on all the rides

I always wear skirts - below knee length and floaty and have never had any problems

I don't have the legs for shorts, so always wear skirts, but just tuck them in on the rides to maintain some decency!

I think you would have to tuck skirts round you on some rides to maintain modesty .

Also even if you are exceptionally skinny it's worth giving some thought to chafing on your legs if you are wearing a skirt. I wear cropped trousers as I don't suit shorts.

Chafing? Always wear skirts and have never experienced any chafing. What causes the chafing?

I hate chafing!

Never used to get it but now I end up wearing shorts instead of dresses just because of chafing. I think maybe it's just that the older I get the more the heat affects me and if I get hot and sweaty the chafing starts.
